The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT) is the charity, established by the UK Government, which promotes and supports Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) in the UK. HMD commemorates the Holocaust, Nazi persecution, and subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur. HMDT organizes the national commemoration for HMD in the UK, promotes the hundreds of HMD activities which take place across the UK and supports HMD activity organizers with free workshops, resources and advice. HMDT ensures that everyone in the UK, regardless of age, background or faith, is able to mark HMD.
